I'm Gonzalo Borges,

A photographer based in Lisbon working intentionally with fashion, luxury, and swimwear brands.

Photography entered my life early and gradually shaped the way I see the world. Over time, it became less about capturing moments and more about understanding atmosphere, presence, and the quiet details that define how something feels.

Over the years, I’ve collaborated with national and international brands, including Woman’s Secret, Nude Project, and Levi’s. I’m also proud to be sponsored by Fujifilm — a partnership I hold with gratitude, and one that reflects a shared belief in craft and intention.

Light is at the center of everything I do. I work with both natural and artificial light, but I’m most inspired by the light that surrounds us every day — the kind that feels effortless and real. I focus on direction, nuance, and the small decisions that shape an image long before the shutter is pressed.

Alongside my commercial work, I teach and mentor photographers, which keeps me close to the foundations of the craft and continually refining the way I work.

I work with a limited number of clients each season so I can remain present and fully involved in every collaboration.
